Once I started drawing this page, I suddenly realized that there was no description of the lab that Roger Arbell mentioned! Instead of panicking, I instead contacted Big E for his thoughts, while continuing to draw the rest of the page, getting the characters and lettering down.
I could have easily faked the backgrounds, however a few factors stopped me:
1 - It's lazy, and I've got a better work ethic than that.
2 - Try as I may, I couldn't find any photo reference of the type of 'lab' I had in mind
3 - I didn't want to assume what Big E wanted, and given he's been VERY meticulous in his writings thus far, I want to make sure it all lives up to HIS standards, as well as mine.
